Dermal Fillers
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are FDA-approved injectables that restore volume and structure where natural volume has diminished, softening lines and refining contours. Most are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a sugar molecule the body produces naturally that binds water and gives skin its hydration and elasticity. Manor offers the full Juvederm family (Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Ultra, Ultra Plus) for lips, cheeks, and midface, and the Restylane family (Contour, Kysse, Defyne, Refyne, Lyft, Restylane) for targeted volume and smoothing. Product, dose, and placement are matched to each patient’s anatomy and goals. Most treatments take 30–45 minutes with minimal downtime. Results are visible immediately and typically last 6 to 18 months depending on the filler and treatment area.
The benefits
Six Months to Two Years of Fullness
Results that stay, not just for the moment but for the season ahead. Volume is restored quietly and held gracefully, so your reflection remains consistent long after you've left the room.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
The questions guests bring us most often, answered with the same care and clarity you'll find in the treatment room.
How is Dysport different from Dermal fillers?
Dysport is a neurotoxin injection that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to smooth out wrinkles caused by movement (like frown lines and crow’s feet), lasting about 3–4 months. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are gel-like substances injected under the skin to restore lost volume, plump lips, and soften deep folds, lasting anywhere from 6 months to 2+ years.
How long do Dermal fillers results last?
Dermal filler results typically last anywhere from 6 months to over 2 years depending on the type used. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane last around 6 to 18 months, while Radiesse (Calcium Hydroxylapatite) lasts 12 to 18 months. Sculptra, which works by stimulating collagen, can last up to 2 years, and semi-permanent options like Bellafill can last 5 years or more. Areas with more movement, like the lips, tend to break down filler faster than less mobile areas like the cheeks.
Does Dermal fillers hurt?
Dermal filler injections can cause some discomfort, but most people find it very manageable. Most fillers today come pre-mixed with lidocaine (a local anesthetic) which helps numb the area as the injection progresses, making the process more comfortable. Providers also commonly apply a topical numbing cream 20–30 minutes before the procedure to further minimize pain.
Which areas can Dermal fillers treat?
Dermal fillers are incredibly versatile and can be used to treat a wide range of areas on the face and body. On the face, they are most commonly used to plump and define the lips, restore volume to the cheeks, and smooth out deep smile lines (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines around the mouth.
How many units of Dermal fillers will I need?
Unlike Botox or Dysport which are measured in units, dermal fillers are measured in syringes (typically 1ml per syringe). The amount needed varies greatly depending on the area being treated and the results desired. Lips usually require about 0.5 to 1 syringe for a subtle enhancement, while cheeks may need 1 to 2 syringes per side for a noticeable lift. Under-eye hollows typically require 0.5 to 1 syringe, and areas like the jawline or chin may need 1 to 2 syringes for proper definition.
