CoolSculpting
What Is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is one of the most effective methods for fat reduction. It also has fewer side effects than some of the other procedures used to remove visible fat bulges, making it a popular choice for people who want to get rid of stubborn fat without having to miss work or arrange for someone to help them with childcare, household chores and other activities.
The benefits
Targets Stubborn Fat
CoolSculpting helps eliminate stubborn fat in areas that are resistant to diet and exercise, making it easier to achieve a slimmer and more contoured body shape.
Non-Surgical and Noninvasive
The treatment requires no surgery, needles, or anesthesia, offering a safe and effective alternative to invasive fat reduction procedures.
Permanently Reduces Fat Cells
CoolSculpting works by freezing and destroying fat cells, which are then naturally removed by the body, leading to long-lasting results.
Minimal Discomfort During Treatment
Most patients experience only mild pulling or cooling sensations during the procedure, making it a comfortable and stress-free experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
CoolSculpting FAQs
Are You a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting?
Although CoolSculpting is noninvasive and has a high success rate, it isn’t appropriate for everyone interested in fat reduction. You might be a good candidate for CoolSculpting treatment if you’re already within 5 to 10 pounds of your target weight. CoolSculpting is a body contouring treatment, not a procedure for removing large amounts of excess fat.
You should also have realistic expectations for CoolSculpting. The fat freezing procedure is designed to eliminate subcutaneous fat, or fat that lies beneath the skin. It’s not meant to target the fat under your abdominal muscles or around your organs. That means you need to be able to pinch the fat you want to remove. If you don’t have pinchable fat, the CoolSculpting procedure isn’t appropriate.
Before you have CoolSculpting for fat reduction, you should also let us know if you have any of the following conditions, as you may not be a good candidate for fat freezing if you do.
- Raynaud’s disease
- Poor circulation in the targeted areas
- Open wounds
- Infected wounds
- Nerve damage
- Hernia
- Pregnancy/breastfeeding
- Implanted medical devices
- Bleeding disorders
You should also let us know if you use blood thinners or have had recent surgery on the target area.
The CoolSculpting Treatment Process
The CoolSculpting fat-freezing treatment is very safe. At the start, a gel pad is placed on the area that is targeted for treatment. The CoolSculpting applicators are placed around the region which are equipped with a strong suction to keep in place.
The cooling energy is then applied to freeze your fat. The treatment is so comfortable that patients can use mobile devices or read during it. Many people even sleep through it. There is no recovery time required afterwards, since there is no damage experienced by the surrounding tissues.
What to Expect After Treatment
Patients may notice results starting around three weeks after the service date. A maximum of four to six months is necessary for all the treated fat cells to be filtered out of the body. By this time, you should be able to see a permanent decrease of around 20-25% in the treated area.
How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?
Since our bodies are all different, there’s no one size fits all approach to cosmetic treatments. The cost of CoolSculpting in Dallas, Fort Worth, Addison, Southlake, and Houston varies from patient to patient and depends on the individual needs of each person. Factors we take into consideration are the desired treatment areas and the number of sessions required to achieve the results. During your consultation, we will discuss the details of your CoolSculpting treatment and the associated price.
Maintaining Your CoolSculpting Results
Even though CoolSculpting effectively removes excess stubborn fat from hard to reach areas, fluctuations in weight due to poor lifestyle habits can reverse the improvements provided by the treatment. To maintain CoolSculpting’s benefits, a healthy lifestyle is necessary. This will require regular exercise and a proper diet.
Fat Reduction With CoolSculpting vs Liposuction
Many people wonder how well CoolSculpting works when compared to liposuction. Although liposuction does remove a larger percentage of fat cells, it also has more risks. For example, liposuction requires anesthesia, while CoolSculpting doesn’t. It also takes about one to two weeks to recover from liposuction. CoolSculpting treatments are noninvasive, so you don’t need several days or weeks to recover from it. This makes the fat freezing procedure more attractive to people who are interested in body contouring and don’t want to take time out of their busy lives to recover from something more invasive.
Is there anything I should avoid before a CoolSculpting session?
Blood thinners can increase the amount of bruising you experience after a CoolSculpting session, so it’s important to avoid fish oil, ibuprofen, turmeric, aspirin and any other medications or supplements that could thin your blood and increase the amount of time it takes for it to clot.
Can I speed up my results?
Your body needs time to process the fat cells that were destroyed during your CoolSculpting session, so there’s nothing special you need to do after a treatment. Just give the natural process time to work.
Is the fat reduction permanent?
The fat cells destroyed during CoolSculpting are eliminated from your body, so they can never come back. It’s important to continue exercising and following a healthy diet, however, as your remaining fat cells can get larger if you gain weight, erasing the results you worked so hard to achieve.
Can CoolSculpting help with weight loss?
CoolSculpting isn’t a weight loss method, but it does help some people lose weight by motivating them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Once you invest in treating one area of your body, you’re more likely to stick with a diet and exercise plan, resulting in weight loss in other areas of your body.
