Dysport
What is Dysport?
Dysport is a prescription injectable made from abobotulinumtoxinA, a purified form of botulinum toxin Type A. It works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that tell facial muscles to contract, softening the expression lines those movements create. It’s FDA-approved for moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Dysport and Botox are clinically similar but not interchangeable. The active proteins differ in potency and diffusion, which is why dosing and placement are calibrated to the product and to each face.
The benefits
Three to Four Months of Ease
Carried forward, not chased. Results hold steadily, and future appointments are shaped around your pace, not a prescribed schedule.
Considered Where Expression Lives
The brow. Between the brows. The outer eye. Dysport softens the lines that form where you feel most — without quieting the expressions that make you recognizable.
A Finish That Moves With You
Even, natural, and still entirely yours. Dysport settles gently across broader areas, smoothing without flattening. You'll still look like you, laughing.
Refinement Without Recovery
No surgery. No downtime. No pretense. A precise treatment, thoughtfully delivered — and a return to your day, uninterrupted.
Fifteen Minutes, In and Out
A small appointment, carried on your terms. Step in, settle in, and go — aligned with the version of yourself you had in mind.
BEFORE & AFTER
Results from real Manor patients. Subtle by design, built on dosing and placement calibrated to each face.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
The questions guests bring us most often, answered with the same care and clarity you'll find in the treatment room.
How is Dysport different from Botox?
Both are botulinum toxin Type A injectables, but they differ in protein concentration and dosing. Dysport tends to spread more across the treatment area, which makes it well-suited for broader regions like the forehead. It also takes effect faster, often within 2–3 days compared to Botox’s typical 3–5 days.
How long do Dysport results last?
Results typically last 3 to 4 months, though this varies by individual, treatment area, and muscle activity. With consistent appointments, some patients find results extend slightly over time as the targeted muscles gradually become less active.
Does Dysport hurt?
The injections involve a very fine needle and most patients describe the sensation as a minor pinch. Sessions are brief — usually 15 minutes or less — with no anaesthetic required. There is no downtime; most people return to their normal day immediately after.
Which areas can Dysport treat?
Dysport is FDA-approved for the glabellar lines (the “11s” between the brows). Practitioners also use it off-label for forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow lifting, and the outer eye area — regions where natural expression lives and where a subtle, movement-preserving result is most valued.
How many units of Dysport will I need?
Dysport is dosed differently from Botox — units are not interchangeable between the two. A typical glabellar treatment uses 50–70 units of Dysport. Your exact dosage is determined during your consultation based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and the result you want. Manor’s approach is always to start considered and adjust, never to over-treat.
